Every year CSAs take time from their busy practices to make a difference in the lives of seniors. Compassion, creativity and a “can do” attitude make CSA volunteers an incredible asset to seniors and local non-profit organizations that serve seniors. CSAs are problem-solvers, fundraisers, facilitators and friends. They volunteer for seniors because it’s part of their personal and professional commitment to the communities where they live and work.

The Service to Seniors Awards program is proud to recognize this volunteer commitment by regularly selecting three award winners:

  • CSA Trailblazer: recognizes a CSA who has created a successful new program that helps seniors.
  • CSA Community Citizen: honors a CSA who has gone above and beyond to share their know-how with a senior-related organization or community cause that improves the life of seniors.
  • CSA Samaritan: recognizes a CSA who has done an exemplary job of meeting the needs of a senior on a one-to-one basis.

The Service to Seniors Awards are held in conjunction with the CSA International Summit. The three winners are announced and honored during the opening ceremonies of the Summit. Each winner receives a $500 donation to the senior organization of their choice plus free registration to the Summit.
