Candidates who enroll in the classroom version of the CSA Course and Exam Package test at class. Individuals who defer their class exam must test at a test center. There is no additional fee for a deferred exam.

Scheduling Your CBT Exam or Re-test

If you purchase the self-study CSA Course and Exam package (or the CSA Exam only) you will take your CSA exam or re-test at a professional CBT test center. You will receive an email with instructions, including your user ID and password, to access more detailed information online about available test centers and their distance in miles from your zip code, as well as test dates and times, so you can schedule your exam online.

• You must schedule your exam no later than 3 business days prior to the date you want to test.
• You may reschedule at no additional charge up to 3 business days before your exam date. After 3 business days, there is an additional charge of $85 to re-schedule.
• If you cancel your exam less than 3 business days prior to your exam date, or if you are a no show, there is an additional charge of $85 to re-schedule your exam.

Re-test Waiting Period and Fee:

You must wait at least 6 weeks in between test dates to re-test. You have two re-test opportunities. There is an additional fee of $85 for each re-test.
