CSA CE Requirements

  • Starting in 2004, all CSAs will have three years to earn 18 CSA CE credits in order to renew their membership for year four:
    • 12 CSA CE hours in volunteering for seniors *
    • 6 CSA CE credits in CSA CE ethics training

      *Members may choose to complete the entire 18 CSA CE credit requirement in CSA CE ethics training

  • Members must earn 18 CSA CE credits every three years.

  • Members will have until the end of their anniversary month in year three to complete 18 CSA CE credits. For example, a CSA whose designation anniversary falls in July 2004 has until July 31, 2007 to earn 18 CSA CE credit hours.

  • Only CSA CE ethics classes will be accepted for CSA CE credit.

  • All volunteer work for seniors must be done through an organization.

  • Tuition for CSA CE credit hours in CSA CE ethics training is being offered at no charge to members. *

*As CSA CE ethics classes are approved for CFE, CPE, PACE and state Life and Health (L&H) insurance CE, members may request CE credit for completing them. An administrative fee will be charged by the provider to register for the CE.
